Opening a View

Graphical window for creating a GeminiDB Cassandra view is not available. To create a view, execute SQL statements in the SQL window. For details, see Executing SQL Statements.

After a view is created, you can open the view on the DAS console and view data in it.

Precautions

GeminiDB Cassandra views cannot be edited.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the DAS console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner, and under Databases, click Data Admin Service.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Development Tool.

    You can also click Go to Development Tool on the overview page.

  5. Locate the DB instance that you want to log in to and click Log In in the Operation column.
  6. On the top menu bar, choose Keyspace Management.
  7. Click Change Keyspace on the right of the current keyspace to switch to the keyspace where you want to open a view.

  8. On the displayed Objects tab, choose Views on the left. In the table list, locate the view you want to open, and click Open in the Operation column.
  9. On the displayed page, obtain details of the view.
