Obtaining an Access Token from GitHub

Constraints

You have a GitHub account.

Configuring an Access Token

Log in to GitHub, click the profile picture in the upper right corner, and choose Settings > Developer settings.
Choose Personal access tokens > Personal access tokens (classic) > Generate new token (classic) and enter key information.
Enter the necessary information to create a token. The new token page is displayed. The token is temporary. Copy and save it.
