Configuring a Network Proxy

This section describes how to configure a network proxy for artifact repository access. If a proxy is required, configure it as described here to ensure developers can access the repository and complete development and build tasks.

Prerequisites

You must have the project manager or project administrator role. For details about how to add this role, see Managing Project Members.

Configuring a Network Proxy for the Proxy Repository

  1. Use your Huawei Cloud account to access self-hosted repos.
  2. Click the username in the upper right corner, and select All Account Settings from the drop-down list.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Mirror > Mirror.
  4. On the Proxy Settings page, click the Network tab, and set the proxy name, network proxy address, and port.

    • Proxy Name: Enter a proxy name. Only digits, letters, hyphens (-), and underscores (_) are supported.
    • Net Proxy Address: Enter the address of the proxy server installed during the network configuration of the proxy mirror repository. Contact the environment administrator or O&M personnel to obtain the proxy address.
    • Port: Enter the port of the proxy server installed during the network configuration of the proxy mirror repository. Contact the environment administrator or O&M personnel to obtain the port.

  5. Click OK. The network proxy is added.

You can view the new network proxy in the proxy list.
