Configuring a Local Repository

Prerequisites

• You have the editRepository permission. For details about how to add this permission, see Configuring Repository Permissions.

Procedure

1. Use your Huawei Cloud account to access self-hosted repos.
2. Click Settings on the right of the repository.

   

3. Configure repository information by referring to Table 1.

   Table 1 Parameters for configuring a local repository

   Item		Description
   Basic Information	Include Patterns	Specify files or folders to include by configuring a file path pattern. Only artifacts that match the added path prefix can be uploaded or downloaded. Ensure that the path pattern is correct to avoid disrupting normal operations.
   	Exclude Patterns	Specify files or folders to exclude by configuring a file path pattern. Artifacts that match the added path prefix cannot be operated on. Ensure that the path pattern is correct to avoid disrupting normal operations.
   	Description	Describe the basic information and purpose of the repository.
   Associated Projects		This parameter is available only when Package Type is set to Maven. This parameter is used to share artifacts in CodeArts Build. By default, CodeArts Build pulls artifacts only from repositories in the current project. You can configure associated projects to share artifacts across projects. After the target repository is associated with the project where the build task is located, build tasks in that project can pull artifacts from the repository.
   Repository Permissions		Configure permissions carefully, preferably with professional guidance. This function allows you to manage repository permissions of different roles. You can configure access permissions for different users or roles as required. For details, see User Permissions Management.
   Deployment Policies		Select a deployment policy carefully, as it affects artifact management. Deployment policies control how artifacts are deployed in the repository. Available options include: Allow redeploy (default): Artifacts in the same path can be uploaded. Disable redeploy: Artifacts in the same path cannot be uploaded. Read-only: Artifacts cannot be uploaded, updated, or deleted.

4. Click Submit to save the configurations.

   Changes take effect immediately.
