Enabling Task-level ACD Detection

  • When an outbound call is made, the ACD detection function can be used to:
    1. Check the status of the called party before the outbound call is connected. For example, check whether the called party is busy or whether the called number does not exist.
    2. Check whether the answering party is a person or a device such as a fax, a modem, or an automatic answering machine after the outbound call is connected.
  • The ACD detection function supports three control modes: system-level, tenant-level, and task-level.

Prerequisites

  1. You have enabled the corresponding system-level parameter by performing the following operations:
    1. Log in to the WAS as the system administrator, choose Web Configuration Console > System Configuration > OBS > OBS Parameter, and enable the ACD detection function.
  2. You have enabled the corresponding tenant parameter by performing the following operations:
    1. Log in to the WAS as the system administrator, choose Web Configuration Console > System Configuration > VDN, select the corresponding tenant space, click , and enable the ACD detection function on the Basic Info tab page.
  3. You have enabled the corresponding system-level parameter of the AICC by performing the following operations:
    1. Sign in to the AICC as the system administrator, choose Configuration Center > System Management > System Parameter, and set Whether to enable ACD detection capability to Yes.
  4. You have enabled the corresponding tenant parameter of the AICC by performing the following operations:
    1. Sign in to the AICC as the system administrator, choose Call Center > Tenant Management, and set ACD detection on mode to Enable detection on the Virtual Call Center tab page of the corresponding tenant.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to the AICC as a tenant administrator and choose Configuration Center > Call Config > ACD Detect Management.
  2. Enter a task name and click to query the corresponding task.

    The ACD detection function is not supported for manual outbound calls, manual assignment outbound calls, and previewed outbound calls.

  3. Click Edit to enable the task-level ACD detection function.
