    In practice, manually creating image snapshots may increase O&M complexity. CCI supports automatic image snapshot creation to simplify operations. When an image is pulled, if no existing image snapshot matches the image, CCI automatically creates a new image snapshot. This reduces manual intervention and improves workload creation efficiency.
    Using an Image Snapshot
    When you are creating a pod, CCI needs to pull the container images. The image download speed affects the pod startup. Image snapshots accelerate image pull, improve pod startup speed, and reduce bandwidth consumption. You can create a pod using an automatically-matched or specified image snapshot.
