Expanding the Instance Storage
Scenarios
You can increase the storage space of a CBH instance without upgrading other specifications.
Prerequisites
The CBH system data has been backed up.
Before you expand capacity, back up the CBH system data in the event of expansion failures. For details, see Which Types of System Data Can Be Backed Up in a CBH System?
Procedure for Expanding the Instance Storage
- Log in to the CBH console.
- Click
in the upper left corner on the displayed page and select a region. - Locate the row containing the instance you want to expand. In the Operation column, choose More > Expand > Expand Storage. Figure 1 Expand storage
- In the Expand Storage area, configure the storage space you want to expand and click Next.
- On the details page, check the new capacity and price. If the information is correct, click Submit.
- If the instance is billed on a yearly/monthly basis, you need to pay for the instance on the payment page.
- Return to the CBH instance list page and check the running status of the instance.
The system automatically expands the storage capacity, which takes about 30 minutes.
The instance status changes from Running to . When the instance status changes to Running, the CBH instance can be used.
