Video Recording Audit

Scenarios

Each time an operation is finished, a historical session is generated to record the specific operations performed by the operator. Auditors can view these historical sessions to check whether operators performed any non-compliant operations during the O&M process.

The entire process of O&M personnel logging in to managed resources through the bastion host is recorded as video recordings. Auditors can download and play them in just a few clicks.

Precautions

  • Sensitive data may exist in the video files to be audited. Exercise caution when checking these files to prevent information leaks. You are advised to enable the O&M log anonymization configuration to anonymize sensitive information in video files. For details, see Anonymizing O&M Logs.
  • The total duration and playable duration of a downloaded video file may be different because the logout time and last operation time are different.
    • The total duration starts from the time when an operator logs in to a resource to the time they log out of the resource.
    • The playable duration starts from the time an operator logs in to a resource to the time the last session is completed.

Notes and Constraints

For details about the resource types that support video audit, see Audit Formats.
