Proxy
A proxy is an ECS that you purchased from Huawei Cloud for network communication between different clouds.
Adding a Proxy
- Log in to the AOM 2.0 console.
- In the navigation pane, choose Settings. The Global Configuration page is displayed.
- In the navigation tree on the left, choose Collection Settings > Proxy Areas. The Proxy Areas page is displayed.
- Click Add Proxy and set related parameters.

Proxy Area
Select a proxy area that you have created.

Select a host where the UniAgent has been installed.

Proxy IP Address
Set the IP address of the proxy.

Port
Enter a port number, which cannot be greater than 65535.

- Click OK. The proxy is added.
Modifying a Proxy IP Address
After a proxy is created, you can change its IP address as required. The following shows the procedure:
- In the navigation tree on the left, choose Collection Settings > Proxy Areas. The Proxy Areas page is displayed.
- Click Modify Proxy IP in the Operation column of the proxy. On the page that is displayed, modify the proxy IP address.
- Click OK. The proxy IP address is modified.
Checking a Proxy
After a proxy is created, check the proxy if needed:
- In the navigation tree on the left, choose Collection Settings > Proxy Areas. The Proxy Areas page is displayed.
- Click a proxy area to view the proxy in it.
Deleting a Proxy
You can delete a proxy that is no longer used. The procedure is as follows:
- In the navigation tree on the left, choose Collection Settings > Proxy Areas. The Proxy Areas page is displayed.
- Click Delete in the Operation column of the target proxy.
- In the dialog box that is displayed, click OK to delete the proxy.
