Why Can't I Connect to the Instance After an EIP Is Bound to It?
Possible Cause
The current port has not been enabled in the inbound rules of the security group.
Handling Procedure
- Click the instance name to go to the Basic Information page.
- In the Network Information area, click the value of the Security Group parameter.

- Click the Inbound Rules tab and click Add Rule. Then, specify parameters as shown in the following figure.

You can also specify parameters by referring to Configuring Security Group Rules.
