This section describes the billing mode and billed items of FlexusCCI, how to top up your account when your account is in arrears, and how to delete FlexusCCI containers.

Billing Mode

FlexusCCI supports pay-per-use billing.

Pay-per-use is a postpaid billing mode. You pay as you go and just pay for what you use. FlexusCCI is calculated by the second but billed every hour. This mode allows you to adjust resource usage easily. You do not need to prepare resources in advance, and will not have excessive or insufficient preset resources.

Arrears

Pay-per-use FlexusCCI containers are settled periodically. If you do not have a valid payment method configured or your account balance is insufficient, your account will fall into arrears.

The following describes the impacts if your FlexusCCI containers expire or if your account is in arrears.

Phase	Impact
Grace period	The FlexusCCI containers enter the grace period after your account is in arrears. During the grace period, you can still access and use them.
Retention period	If you do not renew your FlexusCCI containers or pay off the arrears before the grace period expires, they enter a retention period. They cannot be accessed or used during the retention period, but they are retained.

After FlexusCCI containers enter a grace period or retention period, Huawei Cloud will notify you of this by email or text message. If you do not complete the renewal or payment before the retention period ends, your FlexusCCI containers will be released. To avoid impacting your services, renew them in a timely manner.

Top-up

If your account is in arrears, FlexusCCI containers cannot be used. If you want to continue using them, renew them before the retention period ends, or they will be released and cannot be recovered.

Pay-per-use is a postpaid billing mode. Pay-per-use FlexusCCI containers are automatically settled by the hour. You will need to make sure you have a top-up account with a sufficient balance or have a valid payment method configured first.
