Service Bandwidth

Description

The service bandwidth indicates clean service bandwidth forwarded to the origin server from the AAD scrubbing center (prepaid). A 100 Mbit/s of service bandwidth is provided for each instance for free. You can buy up to 40000 Mbit/s of service bandwidth at an additional cost.

If the AAD scrubbing center is deployed outside Huawei Cloud, it is recommended that the service bandwidth be greater than or equal to the egress bandwidth of the origin server.

Insufficient service bandwidth can lead to rate limiting or packet loss, which may degrade performance of services. For services with high traffic fluctuations, configuring elastic bandwidth is recommended.

What Will Happen If My Service Traffic Exceeds the Configured Service Bandwidth?

If your service traffic exceeds the configured service bandwidth of the purchased AAD instance, rate limiting is triggered, which may result in packet loss.
