What Can I Do If the Message "The number of agencies has reached the maximum!" Is Displayed When I Enable COC?

Symptom

When enabling COC, the error message "The number of agencies has reached the maximum!" is displayed.

Cause Analysis

The number of agencies exceeds the quota. When you enable COC, the system automatically creates the agency ServiceAgencyForCOC for you and completes authorization. If there is no remaining IAM agency quota, COC fails to be enabled and the error message is displayed.

Solution

  1. Log in to the IAM console.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Agencies.
  3. View the number of agencies that you can create.

  4. If there is no quota, perform one of the following operations as required.

    • Apply for a higher quota. For details, see Quota Adjustment.
    • Delete an agency that is no longer required.

      After you delete an agency, all permissions granted to the delegated account will be cancelled.
