How Do I Export a CSR File?

A certificate signing request (CSR) is a message sent from an applicant to a CA to apply for an SSL certificate.

Exporting a Created CSR File

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Security & Compliance > Cloud Certificate Management Service. The service console is displayed.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose SSL Certificate Manager > SSL Certificates > CSRs.
  4. In the CSR list, click the name of the target CSR, as shown in CSR list. The CSR details dialog box is displayed on the right, as shown in CSR details.

  5. Click View the CSR content and private key content. on the CSR details page, as shown in Figure 3.

  6. Click Copy on the right of the CSR file content box. You can copy the content of the created CSR file to apply for a certificate, as shown in Copying the CSR file.

    The private key is kept by the user. Do not send it to external parties.
