Overview

Edge Security (EdgeSec) is a security service based on the edge nodes of Huawei Cloud Content Delivery Network (CDN). It provides functions such as Edge Anti-DDoS, CC attack protection, Web Application Firewall (WAF), and bot behavior analysis. If you have purchased CDN or Whole Site Acceleration (WSA), you can enable security protection for acceleration domain names to safeguard content delivery.

ESA (Edge Security Acceleration) provides cache acceleration and application security protection and supports multiple security functions, such as web attack defense, DDoS attack defense, and CC attack defense. ESA comprehensively improves the security protection capability of the acceleration network and ensures high-quality user experience and service security.

This document describes how to use application programming interfaces (APIs) to perform operations on EdgeSec, such as querying and updating.
