Obtaining Project ID

Obtaining the Project ID by Calling the API

A project ID can also be obtained by calling a specific API. For details, see Querying Project Information.

The API used to obtain a Project ID is GET https://{Endpoint}/v3/projects/. {Endpoint} indicates the IAM endpoint and can be obtained from Regions and Engpoints. For details about API authentication, see Authentication.

The following is an example response. id in projects indicates the Project ID.

Obtaining the Project ID from the Console

A project ID is required for some URLs when an API is called. To obtain a project ID, perform the following operations:

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click the username and select Basic Information from the drop-down list.
  3. On the Account Info page, click Manage.

    On the My Credentials page, view project IDs in the project list.
