Account and Password Authentication
Scenarios
Workspace supports login using an account and password. You can enable password slider verification. If the number of consecutive incorrect password attempts reaches the specified value, the system triggers slider verification. You can access the cloud desktop list only after the verification is successful.
Procedure
- Log in to the console.
- In the navigation pane, choose Tenant Configuration > Authentication Configuration. The Authentication Configuration page is displayed.
- Click Modify and set the following parameters:
- Primary Authentication Type: The default value is Account and password.
- Password Authentication Type: The default value is Local password.
- Password Slider Verification: The default value is Disabled. Enable it if needed.
- Password Retry Limit: After enabling password slider verification, you can set the password retry limit. The value range depends on whether the AD is interconnected.
- For Password Retry Limit, the value ranges from 1 to 4 if the AD is interconnected and ranges from 1 to 10 if the AD is not interconnected.
- If the value of Password Retry Limit reaches the threshold, you need to pass the slider verification to log in again. Ensure that the username and password are correct.
- Click Save.
