Changing a Database Port
You can change the database port of a TaurusDB instance.
Constraints
- The database port of a DB instance with database proxy enabled cannot be changed.
- If there is an HTAP instance, the database port of the DB instance cannot be changed.
- The change will be applied to the ports of the primary node and read replicas, and all nodes in the DB instance will be rebooted.
- It takes about 1 to 5 minutes to change a database port.
Procedure
- Log in to the TaurusDB console.
- Click
in the upper left corner and select a region and project. - On the Instances page, click the instance name to go to the Basic Information page.
- In the Network Information area, click
under Database Port.
The database port of a TaurusDB instance ranges from 1025 to 65534, excluding 5342, 5343, 5344, 5345, 12017, 20000, 20201, 20202, 33060, 33062, and 33071, which are reserved for system use.
- In the displayed dialog box, enter a new database port and click OK.
- If you have enabled operation protection, click Send Code in the displayed Identity Verification dialog box and enter the obtained verification code. Then, click OK.
