Configuring Project Templates

Constraints

• The preset IPD-self-operated software/cloud service project template cannot be copied, edited, or deleted.
• The preset IPD-standalone software and IPD-system device project templates cannot be edited or deleted.

Prerequisites

You must have the permissions of the Tenant Administrator role. For details about how to assign the Tenant Administrator role to a user, see Creating a User Group and Assigning Permissions.

Creating a Project Template

1. Access the CodeArts Req homepage and click .
2. Choose All Account Settings.
3. Choose Work Item Management > Template Settings > Project Templates. The existing project templates are displayed.
4. Click Create New Template.
5. On the displayed page, set the information about the new project template.

   Enter the Template Name, set the Work Item Type Template and Function page Template from the drop-down lists, and enter the Description. The following figure is an example.

   

6. Click Release. The new project template is displayed in the list.
   You can perform the following operations on the new project template.

   Operation	Description
   Edit project template	Click to modify the Template Name, Work Item Type Template, Function page Template, and Description.
   Copy project template	Click to copy the project template.
   Delete project template	Click , and a prompt will appear. Click Delete.
