Overview
LTS allows you to create log alarm rules of the keyword statistics, and SQL statistics types to trigger alarms. You can view alarm details in the alarm list to monitor service statuses. You can also configure alarm notification rules to send alarms via channels like SMS message or email, ensuring you are notified and respond to alarms promptly. For details, see Figure 1.
- A message template defines the format of alarm notification messages sent to subscribers. LTS offers built-in message templates. Subscribers can select templates based on their protocols. If no suitable template exists for a protocol, you can create one. For details, see Creating a Message Template on the LTS Console.
- A Simple Message Notification (SMN) topic represents a specific event type used for publishing messages or subscribing clients to notifications. For details, see Creating a Topic.
- An alarm notification rule links an SMN topic and a message template. It is also a parameter in an alarm rule. When an alarm is triggered, SMN automatically sends an alarm notification via channels like SMS or email, based on the message template. For details, see Creating an Alarm Notification Rule.
- An alarm rule defines the conditions that trigger alarms, including the query condition, detection rule, statistical period, notification frequency, and notification channel. For details, see Configuring Log Alarm Rules.
- An alarm is reported when your defined rule's conditions are met, for example, the number of matched records or a specific condition expression. You can view alarms on the LTS console. For details, see Viewing Alarms in LTS. You can also receive alarm notifications via your configured channels (like SMS or email) based on your alarm notification rule.
