File or Folder Permission Management

In a team space, you can set refined permissions for a single file or folder and set different file operation permissions for different members. The administrator and members with the management permissions can manage permissions on files or folders in the team space. The group space owner and group members with the management permissions can manage permissions on files or folders in the group space.

Constraints

  • If a member lacks permissions for a file or folder, Unauthorized is displayed for the member. File/Folder permissions are inherited from the team space. That is, if the team space permissions change, the file/folder permissions of the member are changed accordingly.
  • During file authorization, the Manage, View only, and Upload permissions in the preset permissions template cannot be granted to members.
  • During folder authorization, the Manage permission in the preset permission template cannot be granted to members. For details about how to set the Manage permission, see Managing Team Space.
