Updating Key Material

The Key Material Update Module is used to periodically rotate the root master key and its salt value online, and to re-encrypt the master key using the new root key. This operation affects critical links—including user authentication, sensitive data encryption/decryption, encryption plugins, proxy communication, and HA interface communication; after the update, the relevant components must be re-authorized, as shown in Figure 1.

Click One-Click Update – the system will automatically update the relevant information.

After the update is successful, the page will display a success message along with the update time; users can then proceed to use other modules of the operating system.
