Billing Scenario

Suppose you purchased a pay-per-use EIP at 08:45:00 on April 18, 2023, and the EIP specifications are as follows:
  • Billing mode: Pay-per-use
  • Billed by: Bandwidth
  • EIP type: Dynamic BGP
  • Bandwidth type: Dedicated bandwidth
  • Bandwidth: 5 Mbit/s
  • EIP reservation price: $0.009 USD/hour
  • Bandwidth price: $0.05 USD/hour
  • The prices are just examples. The actual prices are those displayed on EIP Pricing Details.
  • If an EIP billed by traffic uses a dedicated bandwidth, only the bandwidth used in the outbound direction will be billed.

You bound the EIP to an instance at 09:45:00 on April 18, 2023, and increased its bandwidth to 10 Mbit/s at 10:45:00 on April 20, 2023. The bandwidth price is $0.22 USD per hour. Since you wanted to use the EIP for a long term, you changed the EIP to yearly/monthly billing with a one-month duration at 12:45:00 on April 30, 2023.
