Enabling and Disabling a Technology Stack

This section describes how to disable a technology stack.

After a technology stack is disabled, all its technology stack versions are disabled and cannot be used for Creating and Deploying a Component.

Prerequisites

The technology stack is in the Enabling state.

Enabling a Technology Stack

After a technology stack is enabled, all its technology stack versions are enabled.

Technology stacks in the Disabled state support this operation.

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. Choose System Settings > Tech Stack Management. The Tech Stack Management page is displayed.
  3. Click Enable in the Operation column of the target technology stack.

    After a technology stack is enabled, its status changes to Enabling. All its technology stack versions are enabled at the same time and the status changes Enabling.

Disabling a Technology Stack

After a technology stack is disabled, all its technology stack versions are disabled and cannot be used for Creating and Deploying a Component.

Technology stacks in the Enabling state support this operation.

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. Choose System Settings > Tech Stack Management. The Tech Stack Management page is displayed.
  3. Click Disable in the Operation column of the target technology stack.

    After a technology stack is disabled, its status changes to Disabled. All its technology stack versions are disabled at the same time and the status changes Disabled.
