Changing Quotas
Scenario
This topic describes how to change quotas for SecMaster resources you are using, including Increasing the Quota and Decreasing the Quota.
SecMaster allows you to increase Quota and change required duration at any time after you make a purchase.
For yearly/monthly and pay-per-use SecMaster resources you are using, if the number of ECSs you use decrease, you can decrease the quota of SecMaster resources accordingly. You do not need to unsubscribe from SecMaster and purchase it again.
Limitations and Constraints
- The quota is the total number of servers you authorize SecMaster to check. The maximum ECS quota cannot exceed 10,000.
- When buying SecMaster, ensure that the total ECS quota is greater than or equal to the total number of hosts under the current account. Otherwise, threats may not be detected in a timely manner if unauthorized hosts are attacked, increasing risks such as data leakage.
- Only the standard and professional editions support quota reduction.

in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
