Viewing and Modifying Advanced Features

Scenarios

You can enable advanced features such as advanced compression, dynamic data masking, and anti-tampering for your instance on the instance details page.

Precautions

• Advanced compression status can only be changed for instances of the enterprise or basic edition whose version is V2.0-8.1.0 or later.
• Dynamic data masking and anti-tampering are only supported for instances of the enterprise edition whose version is V2.0-8.0.0 or later.

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > GaussDB.
4. On the Instances page, click the name of the target instance to go to the Basic Information page.
5. Click View and Modify in the Advanced Features field of the Configuration area.
6. In the feature list, change the feature statuses or values, enter Yes, and click OK.

   Anti-tampering	Specifies whether to enable the ledger database feature. If this parameter is set to on, the ledger database is enabled. You can then create new tamper-proof databases or convert existing ordinary databases into tamper-proof databases. on: enabled. off: disabled.	enable_ledger	Enterprise edition

7. Wait until the modification is complete.
