Disabling an Instance

You can stop an instance in the Running state. After the instance is stopped, you cannot log in to the instance.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the DSC console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region or project.
  3. Choose Data asset protection > API Data Security Protection.
  4. Locate the target instance and choose More > Disable in the Operation column.
  5. In the displayed dialog box, click OK. After the instance is stopped, its status changes to Disabled.

    To forcibly stop an instance, select Force Stop in the Stop Instance dialog box. Forcibly stopping an instance may cause data loss. Ensure that all data files have been saved before performing this operation.
