Creating a Local Service
Application scenarios
After you make preparations and specify the service requirements, you can create local services.
This section uses purchasing an ECS as an example.
Prerequisites
You have registered a HUAWEI ID, enabled Huawei Cloud, completed real-name authentication, and topped up your account. Your application for permissions on using IEC HomeZones has been approved. For details, see Preparations for Using IEC.
Procedure
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud console.
- Click
and choose Compute > Elastic Cloud Server.
- Click Buy ECS.
Log in to the ECS console and open the page for purchasing ECSs.
- In the Basic Configuration area, select the parent region where the IEC HomeZones belongs.
- AZ Type: Select HomeZones.
- AZ: Select the AZ where your local service is to be deployed.
