Notice on Setting Bucket Policies or ACLs to Private By Default During OBS Bucket Creation on Huawei Cloud
Dear customer,
Starting February 26, 2025, OBS will begin gradually rolling out the Block Public Access feature for buckets in different regions. If this function is enabled, the bucket policy or ACL cannot be set to be public by default during bucket creation for security purposes. With this function, public access is not allowed and public objects cannot be uploaded to the bucket. If you want to allow public access, you can disable the Block Public Access function when or after creating a bucket. The feature availability depends on OBS Console. For configuration details, see Block Public Access. If you need to use APIs, see Configuring Public Access Block for a Bucket.
If you have any questions or suggestions, submit a service ticket.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. Thank you for using Huawei Cloud.
