Creating an RDS Instance

Create an RDS instance that is in the same VPC and security group as the self-managed MySQL database.

1. Go to the Buy DB Instance page.
2. Configure the instance name and basic information. Select CN-Hong Kong for Region.

   

3. Select an instance class.

   

4. Select a VPC and security group for the instance and configure the database port.

   

5. Configure the instance password.

   

6. Click Next.
7. Confirm the settings.
   • To modify your settings, click Previous.
   • If you do not need to modify your settings, click Submit.

8. Return to the instance list.

   If the instance status becomes available, the instance has been created.
