Disks can be encrypted.

Keys used by encrypted disks are provided by the Key Management Service (KMS) of Data Encryption Workshop (DEW), which is secure and convenient. Therefore, you do not need to establish and maintain the key management infrastructure.

Backups can be created for disks.

You can create backups for disks on the management console without stopping the server.

The DSS service is launched.

DSS provides you with dedicated, physical storage resources. With data redundancy and cache acceleration technologies, DSS delivers highly reliable, durable, low-latency, and stable storage resources. By flexibly interconnecting with various compute services, such as Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), Bare Metal Server (BMS), and Dedicated Computing Cluster (DCC), DSS offers first-class performance in a wide-range of scenarios, including HPC, OLAP, or a mix of loads.
