Relationship Between WSA and CDN

Service Enabling

Before enabling WSA, enable Content Delivery Network (CDN).

PoP Sharing

WSA and CDN share points of presence (PoPs). For details about PoPs, see PoP Distribution.

Console

WSA and CDN share the same console. To access the console, log in to Huawei Cloud console and choose Service List > Content Delivery & Edge Computing > Content Delivery Network.

Adding a Domain Name to WSA

  1. Log in to Huawei Cloud console. Choose Service List > Content Delivery & Edge Computing > Content Delivery Network.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Domains.
  3. On the Domains page, click Add Domain Names and specify domain parameters.
  4. Set Service Type to Whole site. The settings of other parameters are the same as those of CDN. For details, see Adding a Domain Name.

Customizing the Domain Name Configuration

  • The configuration of WSA domain names is similar to that of CDN. For details, see Custom Domain Name Configuration.
  • WSA and CDN share quotas, such as the number of URLs to be purged or prefetched every day.
