Importing and Exporting

Export Function

1. Logging In to the Database Encryption System using the system administrator (sysadmin) account .
2. Select Project Management from the left navigation tree.
3. When hovering the mouse over an item that needs to be edited, the Import and Export buttons will be displayed, as shown in Figure 1.

4. When selecting export rules, you can specify a particular Schema and Table, as shown in Figure 2.

   • Click Encrypt Rule Backup to export the configuration information related to table encryption. The exported file is a non-editable file in the "*.txt" format.
   • Click Confirm to export an editable, encrypted, anonymized configuration in Excel format. This file can be edited offline before being imported into the system. The sample Excel file is shown in Figure 3.

Import Function

Click Import; the interface is shown in Figure 4. You can:

• Select files to import from the directory.
• Drag and drop the files you wish to import.

At this point, you can select either an Excel file or a file in the "*.txt" format. The system will automatically detect the appropriate format and upload the corresponding content.
