Creating an RTDService Service User
Scenario
By default, you cannot log in to the RTD WebUI as the system administrator. To configure service rules for a user, you need to create a user on FusionInsight Manager and bind the RTDService role to the user.
Prerequisites
- A role with the permission to access the RTD Web UI has been created. For details, see Creating an RTDService Role.
- The cluster administrator has planned permissions based on service requirements.
Procedure
- Log in to FusionInsight Manager.
- Choose System. On the navigation pane on the left, choose Permission > User and click Create.
- Enter a username, for example, rtduser.
- Set User Type to Human-Machine.
- Set Password and confirm your password.
- In the User Group area, click Add to select a user group as needed.
- In the Primary Group drop-down list, select the primary group for the user.
- In the Role area, click Add to bind System_administrator and other roles you want the user has. In this example, select the created RTDService role.
- Click OK.
