How Do I Change the SASL_SSL Setting of a Kafka Instance?
- In regions including ME-Riyadh, LA-Sao Paulo1, and LA-Santiago, the SASL_SSL setting cannot be changed once the Kafka instance has been created. Be careful when configuring this setting during instance creation. If you need to change the setting, you must create another instance.
- In regions excluding ME-Riyadh, LA-Sao Paulo1, and LA-Santiago, the SASL_SSL setting of a cluster instance can be changed after instance creation. For details, see Changing the Access Mode of an Instance. A single-node instance does not support SASL_SSL.
- SASL_SSL cannot be modified for instances with IPv6 enabled.
