Managing Audit Logs for a GeminiDB DynamoDB-Compatible Instance
Scenarios
You can configure and view audit logs of databases on GeminiDB DynamoDB-Compatible instances. New logs generated for your instance will be uploaded to Log Tank Service (LTS) for management. LTS provides a unified platform to analyze, query, visualize, download, and view real-time logs. This centralizes log management, enhances data security, and improves operational efficiency.

Usage Notes
- Logs for the following operations are supported: CreateTable, UpdateTable, DeleteTable, and UpdateTimeToLive.
- The kernel version must be 3.11.3.260300 or later.
- Ensure that there are available LTS log groups and log streams in the same region as your instance. For more information about log groups and log streams, see Log Management.
Audit Log Management
- Log in to the GeminiDB console.
- In the navigation pane, choose .
- Method 1:
Locate the row containing your target instance and click
in the Report Audit Logs to LTS column.In the displayed dialog box, select an LTS log group and log stream and click OK.Figure 1 Enabling audit log reporting to LTS
Method 2:
Select one or more instances and click Enable Log Reporting.
In the displayed dialog box, select an LTS log group and log stream and click OK.

- Once the function is configured, there is a delay of approximately 10 minutes before the settings are applied.
- You will be billed for enabling this function. For details, see LTS Pricing Details.
- Log in to the GeminiDB console.
- In the navigation pane, choose .
- Select at least one instance and click Disable Log Reporting.
- In the displayed dialog box, click OK. Figure 3 Disabling log reporting
- Log in to the LTS console.
- In the Log Groups area on the Log Management page, locate the required log group and log stream, and click the log stream name to go to the details page.
- Set From now to select a relative time (15 minutes by default) in the upper right corner as needed.
- On the Raw Logs tab, view the audit logs generated in the relative time period.
