How Do I Select the Service Area If the Server Is Outside the Chinese Mainland but My Web Visitors Are in the Chinese Mainland?

You are advised to select Chinese mainland as Service Area.

Because:

• If users in the Chinese mainland access your domain name, users are redirected to nearby CDN PoPs. They will experience notable acceleration.
• If users outside the Chinese mainland access your domain name, they are also redirected to CDN PoPs in the Chinese mainland because your service area is Chinese mainland. However, they may experience reduced acceleration or, in the worst case, access failures due to cross-border network factors.
