Enabling and Disabling a Technology Stack Version

Enabling a Technology Stack Version

The technology stack versions built in ServiceStage and the custom technology stack versions added in Adding a Custom Technology Stack Version can be used for Creating and Deploying a Component only after being enabled.

Technology stack versions in the Disabled state support this operation.

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. Choose System Settings > Tech Stack Management. The Tech Stack Management page is displayed.
  3. Click before the target technology stack version to expand the list.
  4. Click Enable in the Operation column of the target technology stack version.

After a technology stack version is enabled, its status changes to Enabling. If the technology stack status is Disabled before the technology stack version is enabled, the technology stack status changes to Enabling after the technology stack version is enabled.

Disabling a Technology Stack Version

If the technology stack versions built in ServiceStage and the custom technology stack versions added in Adding a Custom Technology Stack Version are no longer needed, you can disable them.

Disabled technology stack versions cannot be used for Creating and Deploying a Component.

Technology stack versions in the Enabling state support this operation.

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. Choose System Settings > Tech Stack Management. The Tech Stack Management page is displayed.
  3. Click before the target technology stack version to expand the list.
  4. Click Disable in the Operation column of the target technology stack version.

After a technology stack version is disabled, its status changes to Disabled. If all versions of a technology stack are disabled, the technology stack status changes to Disabled.
