Managing Knowledge Bases
Adding and Deleting Documents in the Knowledge Base
- Log in to the agent development platform.
- In the navigation pane, choose Workstation. Click the Knowledge tab.
- Click the required knowledge base. The details page is displayed.
- Add knowledge documents to the knowledge base. Click Continue Upload in the upper right corner to upload local documents to the current knowledge base.
- Delete a knowledge document from the knowledge base. On the Knowledge Document tab page, click Delete in the Operation column to delete the current knowledge document.
Enabling or Disabling a Knowledge Base
- Log in to the agent development platform.
- In the navigation pane, choose Workstation. Click the Knowledge tab. Click the icon in the upper right corner of a knowledge base card to view the knowledge base status. Click Enable or Disable to enable or disable the knowledge base.
- Click the required knowledge base. The details page is displayed. Click Enable or Disable in the upper right corner.

A knowledge base can be referenced in applications and workflows only when it is enabled.
If a knowledge base that has been referenced by applications or workflows is disabled, no search result is returned. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
Obtaining a Knowledge Base ID and Deleting a Knowledge Base
- Log in to the agent development platform.
- In the navigation pane, choose Workstation. Click the Knowledge tab.
- Click
> Copy ID to obtain the current knowledge base ID.
- Click
> Delete to delete the current knowledge base.
Deleting a knowledge base is a high-risk operation. Before deleting a knowledge base, ensure that the knowledge base is no longer used.
