Disabling Application Protection

Scenario

You can disable application protection if it is no longer needed.

You can disable application protection in either of the following ways:

Disabling Application Protection

  1. Log in to the HSS console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region or project.
  3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Prevention > Application Protection.
  4. In the Operation column of an asset, click Disable Protection.

If you only need to disable protection for part of the applications on an asset, click View Details in the Operation column of the asset. On the details page, click Disable Protection in the Operation column of specific applications.

  5. On the Disable Protection page, click OK.

If the RASP status of an asset or application changes to Unprotected, the protection has been disabled.

  6. (Optional) Delete startup parameters.

If you have manually configured startup parameters to enable application protection, you are advised to delete the configured startup parameters and restart applications. For details about the parameters to be deleted, see Manually Enabling Application Protection for a Server and Manually Enabling Application Protection for a Container.
