Alert Notification

Email Configuration

1. Logging in to the Database Operations and Maintenance Management System using the sysadmin system administrator account.
2. In the left navigation bar, select System Management > Alert Notification.
3. To configure email server information, follow these steps:
   1. Click the Edit button on the left side of the page.

   2. Mail server configuration information.
   3. Click OK.

      Parameter	Description
      SMTP Server Address	The SMTP server address of the mail server.
      Port	The port number of the mail server.
      Connection Encryption Method	The connection method for the mail server.
      Username	The username of the mail server.
      Password	The password for the mail server.
      Sender Address	The email address of the mail server.

4. To test the email server connectivity, follow these steps:
   1. Enter the recipient email address in the sending test area.
   2. Click Send to Test Mail.
   3. Click OK.

Related Operations

You may perform the following operations on the Policy Template Management page as needed later:

• Alert Audit: An alert audit will be triggered when database users execute O&M operations against security policies, and alert emails will be sent to administrators via the mail server.
• When database users submit work orders for data access permission application, application emails will be delivered to administrators through the mail server.
• After administrators approve the data access permission application work orders, approval result emails will be sent to applicants.
