Data Field Configuration

Adding data domain

1. Logging in to the Database Operations and Maintenance Management System using the sysadmin system administrator account.
2. In the left navigation bar, select Rule Management> Sensitive Data Rules, and the page displays a tree list of data domains.
3. Click the Add Data Domain button to open the Add Data domain page.
4. Enter the Data Domain Name and Notes.

   Data Domain Name	Data name. (Required)
   Notes	Additional remarks.

5. Click OK.

Related Operations

Subsequently, you may perform the following operations on the Sensitive Data Discovery Rule page as needed:

• Add discovery rules to a data field: Select the data field and click the Add button to add discovery rules. For detailed steps, see Discovery Rule Configuration.
• View: Select a data field and click the eye icon to view its information.
• Edit: Select a data field and click the eye icon to view its details. On the right-hand Data Field Details page, click Edit to modify the data configuration as needed. Click OK.
• Delete: Select a data field and click the Trash icon to delete its information. Before deleting the data, remove the discovery rules associated with it; otherwise, the delete button will not appear, and the data field cannot be deleted.

• Delete the discovery rules under the data field before deleting the data field.
• After creating a data field, its name cannot be edited or modified.
