Is the Principle of Accelerating Delivery of Static and Dynamic Content the Same?
No.
- Static content is cached on CDN PoPs so that users can obtain the content from the nearest CDN PoP.
- Dynamic (pseudo-static) content is directly pulled from the origin server. Technologies such as intelligent routing, multi-line origin pull, and protocol optimization are used to accelerate origin pull.
If your website contains a lot of dynamic and pseudo-static content, you can use whole site acceleration, so that CDN loads dynamic pages more quickly by bypassing congested routes.
