Expanding the System Disk Capacity of a Lite Server Supernode
Description
When you use a supernode, the OS fails to be switched due to insufficient system disk space. Additionally, during routine service runtime, data is continuously increasing. As a result, the remaining space of the system disk decreases and finally reaches the upper limit, affecting service running.
To address these problems and ensure service continuity and stability, Lite Server allows you to expand the system disk capacity on the node details page. You can easily switch to the EVS page to expand the capacity as required, preventing operation failures or service interruption caused by insufficient space.
Constraints
- Expanding a supernode system disk depends on EVS capacity expansion. Go to the EVS console to expand the system disk capacity.
- A supernode's system disk can expand but cannot shrink.
- Common nodes cannot expand or shrink their system disk size. Attempting these changes through the EVS console could cause errors.
Billing
After the disk capacity expansion, the billing information will be displayed in the billing order generated during supernode creation. No new billing order is generated.
Expanding the System Disk Capacity of a Supernode
