Managing Privacy Statements
Prerequisites
In a DI, Usage Scope is not set to Internal Use Only.
Creating a Privacy Statement
- Log in to the PCMC.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose .
- Click Create in the upper left corner of the page. The Create Privacy Statement page is displayed.
- Configure the parameters based on Table 1.

Description
S Code
Select an S code. If you open this page by clicking a to-do task, the S code in the task will be bound by default.
Description
Briefly describe the privacy statement, for example, applicable to the XX activity in the XX region.
Applicable Regions
Select one or more applicable regions.
Default Language
Select the default language of the privacy statement.
Type
Select the applicable type of the privacy statement.
Personal Data Inventory (DI) Name
Select the created DI name. If no DIs are available, create one by referring to Creating a DI.
Privacy Statement Template (Optional)
Click Add. Select a privacy statement template. (The templates are configured by the legal affairs personnel. Contact them to select the correct compliance template.)
- Click Next Step. On the Edit Privacy Statement page that is displayed, configure the following parameters:
- Privacy Statement Title: Enter a title for the privacy statement.
- Module Title: If there is a table of contents, add a title for each module.
- You can click Add Module to add more module titles.
- Click Next Step. The Edit List page is displayed.
- Personal Information Collection List:
Configure Whether Involved. If Involved is selected, configure the personal information collection list below.
- Third-party Sharing List:
Configure Whether Involved. If Involved is selected, configure the third-party sharing list below.
- Third-party SDK List:
Configure Whether Involved. If Involved is selected, configure the list below.
- Personal Information Collection List:
- Click Next Step to go to the Preview page. Preview the complete privacy statement. If it is correct, click Submit for Approval.
Approval Process
The privacy statement approval process is as follows. You can check it in Personal Center.
