Binding an EIP

Each database encryption instance corresponds to an independent database encryption and access control system.

To access these functions via a web browser, an EIP must be bound first.

Prerequisites

Access to database or big data assets has been authorized.

Binding an EIP to an Instance

  1. Log in to the DBSS console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner on the displayed page and select a region.
  3. In the navigation tree on the left, choose Database Security Audit (Enhanced Encryption).
  4. On the displayed page, locate the instance to be bound to an EIP, and choose More > Bind EIP in the Operation column.
  5. In the displayed dialog box, select an EIP in the Not bound status and click OK.
