Multi-chat Parallelism

In traditional development, chats in a project must be processed one by one, resulting in low efficiency. With multi-chat parallelism, several chats can be handled at the same time, boosting the overall development efficiency.

Multi-chat parallelism is mainly used in the following scenarios:

  • Parallel execution of multiple development tasks: Multiple independent chats can be created under the same project for the development of different functional modules (such as frontend and backend), allowing chats to advance in parallel.
  • Synchronous Q&A development: You can freely switch between different chats. While executing a specific development task, you can simultaneously initiate new Q&As, preventing you from getting blocked while waiting in a single chat.

Category

Description

Chat type

The system supports running multiple types of chats simultaneously; however, each chat must consistently stick to one specific task type (such as, Agent or AgentTeam).

  • Basic or professional edition: ≤ 5

For a user, the chat limit is shared across all tools (such as CodeArts Agent IDE and Visual Studio Code).
