Accessing the Included Repos Page

A virtual repository can aggregate and proxy third-party repositories and repositories of the same type. You can click Settings on the right of the virtual repository, select the Included Repos tab, and click Add Repo.

Aggregating and Proxying Open Sources

You can configure the public images that match the package type of the virtual repository. For example, for Maven repositories, you can use the public maven mirror https://repo.huaweicloud.com/repository/maven/.

Go to the Included Repos page of the virtual repository. In the Add Repo dialog box, select Open Source and set Repo Name to the public image of the target package type, as shown in the following figure.

Aggregating and Proxying Custom Sources

You can aggregate and proxy local repositories from user-defined third-party sources or from CodeArts Artifact.

Aggregating and proxying third-party repositories

1. On the CodeArts Artifact home page, click your avatar in the upper right corner and select All Account Settings.
2. As the tenant administrator, choose Mirror > Mirror from the navigation pane. On the Custom tab, click Create Proxy and enter the required information to add a custom proxy.

   

   Fill in each proxy input field as follows:

   Item	Description
   Package Type	Select a package type from the drop-down list, such as Maven, npm, or PyPI.
   Repo Name	Name the repository of the proxy.
   Repo URL	URL of the repository that requires proxy.
   PyPI Index Proxy Address	This parameter is available only when Package Type is set to PyPI. It refers to the index site for Python software packages, also known as the python package index (PyPI). Example: https://mirrors.tools.****.com/pypi
   Proxy Username	If the proxy requires authentication, enter the username.
   Proxy Password	If the proxy requires authentication, enter the password. If you do not set the proxy password, the password set last time is used by default.

3. After entering the information, click OK. The custom proxy is displayed in the list. You can then click or to modify or remove it.

   

4. Go to the Included Repos page of the virtual repository, select Custom, and set Repo Type to Mirror. Then select the repository to proxy.

   

Aggregating a local repository

Go to the Included Repos page of the virtual repository, select Custom, and set Repo Type to Artifact repository. Then select the local repository to aggregate.
