Adding a BLU Instance
Scenario
When detecting that the response latency of a BLU service request is long and therefore cannot meet service data processing requirements by monitoring the BLU running status, the system administrator can add BLU instances to improve the BLU service processing capability.
After a BLU instance is added, you can manually trigger the instance to process messages and determine whether the BLU instance can run properly based on the processing result.
Procedure
- Log in to FusionInsight Manager.
- Choose Cluster > Services > Containers, and click the Business Manager tab.
- In the list on the left, click the name of the group to which the desired BLU belongs.
- Click the target BLU in the BLU Name column on the right.
- Click the BLU Instance tab.
- On the tab page displayed, click Add Instance.
- Select an available container and click OK.
If no container is available, BLU instances have been created on all containers in the group to which the BLU belongs. For details, see Adding a Container.
- View the newly added instance on the BLU Instance tab page.
