Overview

After purchasing a Kafka instance, you can change your billing mode if your current one cannot meet your needs. Table 1 lists the billing items of Kafka instances.

Instance specifications	Changing the billing mode of a Kafka instance will also change the billing mode of the instance specifications and storage space. Change the billing mode from pay-per-use to yearly/monthly to enjoy lower prices. By changing the billing mode from yearly/monthly to pay-per-use, you can reclaim some costs and use Kafka resources more flexibly. Changing from yearly/monthly to pay-per-use takes effect at either of the following time: Upon expiration of the yearly/monthly billing. Immediately after the change is submitted.
